2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. A Devious Plan By P. Cronin A very good friend of mine is a relative of this author and she soundly endorsed his book. I trust and value her opinions, so buying this book was an easy choice for me. As it happens, I really enjoyed this first effort. I believe it was well written and I hope others will give it a fair chance. I pretty much had a good idea of how it would end up, but getting there was an enjoyable trip. I never give away a story in a review, since I hate it when others spoil it for me. It is a fun story and at the very least will make you daydream...just a little about what could be -- if just the right circumstances presented themselves.

You feel empathy for Bill and want him to succeed. I do not want to give it away, you definitely have to read it and you will enjoy it. My favorite writers are Koontz, Patterson, and Romyn, this author with more time and experience can possibly join them on my favorites with more novels. Congrats Mike and hope to read more from you.

The plot is gripping and the characters are intriguing. I couldn't put this book down, and finished it in two nights...the first time! I've since read it twice more, and love it more every time! I hope that this will one day become the screenplay for a movie! It would be phenomenal!!!!
