But will she choose the man who left her at the alter or is there another man who can make her fall in love again. God often asks us to wait. Waiting on love is hard, but each of these brides finds out that God's plan is perfect in the end.Each story was sweet and gave a little glimpse into the author's writing style. The inspirational message of faith, trust, and patience were woven into each story without coming across as too preachy. I enjoyed the visuals that each author brought into the plot to make it come alive. The characters were real and relatable. The book was a perfect summer read for when I wanted a great story, but didn't have a lot of time.

By Karen Wright Summer Brides is part of a "Year of Weddings" collection so these 3 novellas featured the June, July and August Brides.The stories were straight up romance - small town, country-living love stories. I wouldn't normally choose this genre but I wanted to fulfill a category in my reading challenge and I'm glad I pushed through. It was quite enjoyable and a typical summer book with easy characters who all fall in love at first sight and get married at the end.Overall, I enjoyed how the 3 stories stayed true to the theme and were so cohesive, they seemed to be written by the same author.Not my usual genre but it's nice to read something different every now and then.
