A man that shifts into a wolf and is a twin and has other siblings, each with a curse of therir own, can't wait to find out what they are.Loved Winifred, she is feisty and bold, a little headstrong but still likable. Curious as to whom her grandfather's soldier is taking food to, she decides to find out, only to run into Hugh and the wolf Arnon.Loved that Hugh retains his animal instinct in more ways than one. Cursed by a witch without knowing why, Hugh tries to help his siblings by sending them away. Hoping to kill the man that has destroyed his family he tries to kidnap the mans granddaughter. When she escapes from him, he finds her in a hovel with a witch.Between the magic and the mayhem this witch brings, will Red and the Wolf see beyond the curse to be together?The ending was very unexpected and while not a cliffhanger you still get an idea for the next book. Elizabeth Rose has definitely given us a "tangle twist" on a favorite story.
1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Lady Red and the Wolfe. By Cathy Lady Winifred (Red) is the delight of her Grandfather. He raised her after her parents were killed. She has everything but she just CANNOT go into the forest alone. One day she sees her Grandfather's servant bring a basket of food into the woods. Of course she has to find out more about that.Lord Hugh de Bar known as Wolfe roams the woods and spies Red who is getting into trouble. He saves her and she is grateful. Now the tangled tale begins. Wolfe finds out that Red's Grandfather is his sworn enemy. Of course I'm not telling you any of the more of the story. It is a combination od love, mystery and evil witch craft, The author, Elizabeth Rose, is famous for giving her stories a slightly different twist, but this one is "tangled as well as twisted". This story is well worth an afternoon or evening.

Tangled Fairy Tales Delight By Elysa Hendricks After reading LADY AND THE WOLF, the first of Ms Rose's Tangled Tales I'll never look at fairy tales quite the same way again. Her imagination knows no bounds as she gives us a new, sexy retelling of the classic Little Red Riding Hood story.
