About the Author Anita Harvey is a disabled veteran of the U.S. Army. She was honorably discharged on 9/30/2000. Ms. Harvey graduated from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in May 2004. She is currently seeking a degree in Applied Anthropology. According to Ms. Harvey the writing of 'Fight For The American Soul' was a direct order from God, Who IS enraged by a powerful, arrogant few that dare play the role of The Almighty Himself. God has spoken in the scriptures that the destruction of this world will come from the heavens, not the terrorist and certainly not by the word of a bunch of puppet prophets for hire. This is the greatest country on earth and God blessed it. A Glimpse Inside the Lives of Survivors By Nancy Gilliland Fight for the American Soul is a glimpse into the lives of a select group of military personal. These are people from all walks of life: rich and poor, black and white, young and old, and of many races. At first, we see a bit about each character's life, what they feel, think and believe, and what drives each toward the future. At first, I was wondering just where Ms. Harvey was heading, but as the story moves along, I noticed the characters started to interact and intersect, all leading to confrontation and resolution. There are times when life became overwhelming for the characters, but through it all, their faith lead them on to smoother waters. I wanted everyone to have their happily ever after, but things, just as in life, don't always go as we want. Yes, there is sorrow and loss, but there is so much more: joy, understanding, forgiveness and acceptance for all.

We've thought about it, but dare we write it for public view. Anita's book is bold and reaches far beyond the secret personal fears that we dare to express to even our best friends.
