It starts out and I'm thinking okay, a little tongue-in-check is alright. Then it becomes "cutesy" and I start rolling my eyes and finally there is just so much "oh woe is me" it becomes trite.The main character isn't idealistic, she's status hungry and that gets old real fast. Work is work. A degree is no guarantee of success, it does not entitle one to a free pass. Unfortunately, somewhere along the way, the main character never learned that. I almost gagged at one point in the book where she's "helping" a co-worker who has no boundaries. Really?The main character just does not seem to have the capacity for any self-examination. I found that to be really boring. 1 star for effort.

The beginning of the book actually took place somewhere in the middle of the plotline, which is great, except I didn't know the story caught back up with the beginning. I got the book when it was free, and I'd maybe pay .99 for it, but nothing more than that. The spelling and grammatical errors were also very distracting, and there were often quotes in the middle of an inner dialogue for no reason.

By Amazon Customer I think this book has been edited some since these reviews were left, or maybe they were just overly critical. I thought this book was fun and entertaining. Don't take it so seriously, and you will enjoy it a lot!
