I felt as though it was fun for them to try many different sports to see where their interests and abilities led hem. Now it seems, from my perspective as a grandparent, that the level of playing has reached such a degree that private lessons, sports camps, and an early commitment to play only a single sport has replaced the fun and social interaction. This is an informative book for coaches and parents of children of all ages.

I had questions on how to navigate my children through youth sports and this book is a great guide. Steve Locker talks about conflict resolution, and the power that FUN has in keeping children involved in sports. A must read for parents and coaches!
