Just as the seasons change, so does love. It has a beginning, a middle and an end. This poetry book is all about the different changes love can put people through as seen through the eyes of different people who have crossed my path in life, from the young, to the old, and those who are still looking for love, hoping to find the kind that will last forever. I hope these poems will reach into your heart and touch your soul and speak to you. If so, then I have accomplished my dream in life-to write good poetry! Janet Crosby Fears was born and raised in Joliet, Illinois. She worked with the local high schools as a paraprofessional for many years before retiring in 2004 to pursue her writing full time. She is a graduate of the NRI School of Fiction Writing out of Washington, D.C. She not only writes poetry, but also short romantic stories, black folklore and plays. Janet resides in Joliet with her husband, Arthur L. Fears, and is currently working on her second book of poetry.

All the poems are truly heart touching, and I am not just saying this because she is my wife. I personally recall all the nights she would be up writing these poems, and readng them to me. And now to see them in print is truly wonderful. Janet has a true gift for writing, it is her passion. She has a way of saying from the heart what others are feeling deep down inside. I know when you read her poems you will find that special one that will touch your heart, and you will wonder how she knew what you were feeling and could say it so well. I know I have !
