About the Author Pete Liebengood is a retired former TV sportscaster (KCRA-TV Sacramento, KRON-TV San Francisco) and a play-by-play contributor to ESPN (college basketball, college football, boxing and tennis). He's authored two other novels; “Class of '62” and “Accidental Droning.” Raised in Santa Barbara, he pressently lives with his wife, Alicia Aguirre, in Redwood City, California.

By Pony Storm Liebengood's behind-the-scene knowledge of big- and semi- big-time sports makes this novel a literary classic. His sly, slow unwinding an original story is impeccable. His readers eagerly his next foray into who-knows-what aspect of the sports/sports media world. (I finished reading "Honeyball" about a month ago and apologize to not writing this review while the story was fresh in my 71-year olf mind.)
