Jake an ex-Army Major, took his discharge from the Army fifteen months ago after his latest tour of Afghanistan. After 'getting lost' for a year in the Australian Outback to clear his head he accepts a job with Trojan-Sim Gold Corporation in the Tanami region of the Northern Territory, never realizing this will place him right back in the action when he is called upon to assist the CIA to uncover a terrorist plot that will have catastrophic consequences if what they suspect is true, that terrorists may have recovered a Thermonuclear bomb that was jettisoned off the East Coast of America during a simulated combat mission in 1958, when a collision occurred between the B-47 carrying the bomb and an F-86 Fighter. Jake joins the race against time to find the missing CIA Agent and the Nuclear Bomb.

2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Riveting story, interesting and plausable plot. By un While I have not finished the book yet, I am thoroughly drawn into it. It's a very realistic plot based on some factual history. If you enjoy the PAW fiction genre the is for you. While it is not Post Apocalyptic, it is a riveting story, well thought out and a great book for a new author. If you enjoyed the Going Home: A Novel (The Survivalist Series Book 1) series, One Second After and others you will probably enjoy this. The other does a fair job of explaining some of the more obtuse language used in Australia that leaves many of us scratching our heads. It is a bit pricey, probably due to the fact the Author hasn't got a strong publisher yet, but I suspect it won't be long before picked up. Worth the investment in my view.I will update my review after I complete the story.
